So you want to get your taxes done with Jen?
Welcome, happy to have you! This page is designed to help you decide if you want me as your tax preparer, and how to go about making that
happen!
Special note for new clients: I generally work on a first-come-first-served basis and I am always taking on new clients (I assume I will hit a limit at some point, but I haven't yet!) However, I do give returning clients priority. New clients are placed one-month back in my working queue. So for example if you send me all your stuff on Feb 13, you will be placed in the queue at the same point as a returning client who sends in their stuff on Mar 13. Hence new client extension deadlines being earlier. This does NOT affect your early-bird discount! Otherwise, I treat new and returning clients the same. But note, it is unlikely I will be able to complete your return during the regular season if you send your stuff in after Feb 15. After that, we will likely need to file you an extension and take care of your return in the post-season.
1. Who the heck is Jen? Check out the ABOUT page here, to learn about her qualifications and experience, and what sort of returns she does.
2. How much does Jen cost? PRICING info is right here!
3. What if I have more questions? You can CONTACT Jen to email her and ask her specific questions (check all this great website info first though!)
4. OK, I want Jen to do my taxes, now what? There are 2 ways to get it done: Online Appt, or through Email. Check out each option and decide which one you want! Note the Feb 25 deadline to avoid an EXTENSION.
5. Email Jen to let her know you are ready to get started, and she will send you a link to upload your things to TaxDome. Make sure you are ready for Jen to start your return with the READINESS QUESTIONNAIRE.
6. Make sure you check out the FORMS AND SPREADSHEETS for things to fill out and send to Jen in order to get started on your return.
7. Get taxes done with Jen and feel super awesome!
8. Need help making payments? Check out the HOW TO VIDEOS
9. What if I'm running behind and need an EXTENSION? All the info is there!
10. What if I need to meet with Jen outside of Tax Prep??? You can always email Jen with your questions, but if you need an appt to really talk about tax planning, budgeting, retirement accounts, health insurance or any other financial topic, feel free to set up a Personal Financial Planning Appt on the SCHEDULING page. Meeting rates for non-tax clients is $90/hr with some credit given towards a later tax prep fee, $60 for tax clients. Note, there are no Personal Financial Planning Appts from Jan 31 to Apr 24.
Again, special note for new clients: New clients are placed one-month back in my working queue.
